In this fast-paced, accelerated world, stress is present in almost everyone's life. Its root causes can be emotional, physical and mental challenges. This can have positive and negative effects on our mental and physical health. It typically causes restlessness, worry and tension. Excessive stress has a long-term harmful effect on the brain and our nervous system, which can lead to anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion and mental disorders.

Attention to stress-freeness enables positive thinking and mental freshness. It also increases feelings of happiness, love and acceptance. It improves our health and promotes more productive and creative thinking.

What can we do to avoid stress?

First of all, we know what causes the tension, what we need to change in our way of life. It is essential that we do sports and exercise in a form that is suitable for us and that we incorporate it into our days. Be it cycling or walking outdoors. They also greatly improve our mood. Pay attention to conscious breathing even while moving or working. It is easy to learn and steady breathing reduces stress and increases attention. Let's relax for physical and mental balance. What our children use regularly, we also have to learn. And this is nothing more than saying no! We often say yes to things we don't really want. This affects us negatively. In addition, we can quickly overload ourselves and this further increases the feeling of stress in us. Art activities also have a calming effect on the nervous system. Continuous and repetitive movements help reduce stress, reduce nervousness and improve mood. If you still like the end result of what we created, we have also gained a sense of success!

We have collected stress reducing foods

Believe it or not... there are foods with a stress-reducing effect that you can help your body balance by consuming.

An example is chocolate. It contains flavonoids with a calming effect, as well as phenylethylamine, which improves mood. The darker the chocolate, the healthier it is.

With its high antioxidant content, blueberries protect our body from the effects of stress.

Those of us who like spinach may subconsciously feel the power of this plant. Because the calming effect of magnesium is known, it also improves our body's stress reaction - spinach is rich in magnesium (and iron), so it's worth eating as much of it as possible.

Warm milk with honey works wonders against restlessness! This method is also recommended against pre-menstrual syndrome, because milk has a stress-relieving effect.

Oatmeal: Carbohydrates help the production of serotonin, this hormone is responsible for our calmness. Thus, the tried-and-true breakfast porridge still has a place on our table.

Walnuts, which are mostly used in cakes, lower blood pressure, thus calming people down in a stressful situation. It is recommended to consume two deka per day!

Sunflower seeds often come up while watching football, which is not a problem! The folic acid in it helps to produce a feeling of happiness, so it is worth munching or baking with it as often as possible!

Finally, one of the most popular fish, salmon. With it, the omega-3 fatty acids help alleviate the symptoms caused by stress, and also prevent the production of stress hormones.

We hope we helped and added to your stress-free days.
